Over the years, our network has submitted numerous projects to the EU institutions for discussion and development on issues of common interest. Alongside these, a range of activities – some held annually – have been carried out, helping both to strengthen relations between citizens and to foster a sense of belonging to a shared European destiny.

KritJug

Eine Europa kritische Jugend kann sich durch das Wissen über die Vorteile Europas aktiv an der Gestaltung der eigenen Zukunft beteiligen und damit Garant der eigenen Zukunft sein

The project involved young people, particularly those who were critical of and/or sceptical about the European Union, providing them with balanced, fact-based knowledge about the benefits of European cooperation, democracy, and shared values. Youth-led workshops, debates, and simulation games focusing on EU policies and decision-making were organised to ensure that participants became more aware of and better understood how the EU affects daily life.Euromig

¿Los recién llegados son ciudadanos europeos?

The project explored the status, integration, and rights of migrants and refugees in Europe, with a focus on whether – and how – they are perceived, and perceive themselves, as European citizens. Public debates, storytelling workshops, and intercultural events were organised, in which migrants shared their experiences and perspectives. All of this led to a strengthening of community ties through shared activities, dialogue, and cultural exchange.

Immaginare il futuro: percorso in otto tappe verso l’Europa del 2050

The project involved citizens, in particular young people and sceptics, in a shared reflection on the future of Europe. Workshops, debates, school competitions, theatrical performances, and cultural events took place across eight thematic meetings – each linked to the next in a cause-and-effect sequence – held in seven towns of the network. This helped promote awareness of EU values, address Euroscepticism, and identify a clear vision for a federal Europe.

Circular economy & green transition: strengthening local communities through sustainable innovation

The project brings together eight European cities to address the challenges of the ecological transition, promoting the circular economy, energy sustainability, and civic participation. The project recognizes that: the ecological transition must be built together with citizens, local communities, and the territories that experience the effects of climate change every day; Europe is not uniform: some regions have launched advanced circular economy pathways, others are taking their first steps, and others still find themselves blocked by regulatory limits, social resistance, or a lack of resources.
